E-learning, the role of which has increased due to quarantine restrictions, has the means of experimental research in its arsenal. The international educational community has developed and uses a variety of electronic educational resources, which are integrated into collections and libraries. The professional training of physics teachers is not an exception. Electronic educational resources make it possible not only to deliver educational material in a variety of ways, sometimes impossible without ICT, but also to simulate events and processes for their wider study in educational purposes. The use of cloud calculations in the form of virtual laboratory workshops is a way to solve existing problems in the training of future physics teachers. The use of cloud calculations in the educational activities of future physics teachers contributes not only to the improvement of educational material but also to the improvement of digital competence of all participants of the educational process. The research analyzed the available virtual laboratory practices, the scheme of using physics simulations was suggested, the examples of their use during physics teaching and the role of cloud calculations in the training of physics teachers were given. П.The modern informational society poses new challenges to the education system, and one of the ways to solve them is STEM education, which has become one of the popular learning trends. The solution of the set tasks encourages not only the growth of the economic indicators, but also the general stable development of society with a careful attitude to resources, both material and immaterial. The practitioners are the leaders in high-tech changes of the education system, that is why they are the ones who can implement the STEM approach in the most effective way. This is important because the scientific component of technology is evolving over time and, accordingly, the skills of employees that are needed are changing, too. And the STEM approach in education, in turn, is the best to meet this requirement. The professional development of practicing teachers means to update knowledge in the field and acquire new teaching methods and technologies. Thus, in addition to professional necessity, professional development of practicing teachers is of innovative importance. The proposed certificate program of advanced training aims to develop students’ skills to implement STEM education in a scientifically sound and critical way; widely use interdisciplinary interaction; to introduce methods and means of STEM education in professional activity. П.The use of cloud computing in the form of virtual laboratory workshops is a way to solve the existing problems of training future physics teachers, especially in the widespread use of e-learning. The world educational community has developed and is using a variety of electronic educational resources combined in collections and libraries, and the use of them in the educational activities of future physics teachers helps not only to diversify educational material but also to increase digital competence of all participants in the educational process. The study analyzed the available virtual laboratory workshops, proposed a scheme for the use of physical simulations, gave examples of their use in the study of physics.
