M-learning при вивченні іноземних мов та історичних дисциплін у вищій школі

Abstract

Стаття присвячена проблемі використання можливостей мобільного навчання у вищій школі при вивченні іноземних мов та історичних дисциплін. Пропонується поєднувати використання додатків, які є доступними для сучасного студента в його смартфоні, з традиційним навчанням, електронним навчанням. M-learning – навчання за допомогою мобільних пристроїв, яке характеризується гнучкістю, динамічністю, доступністю. Останні роки інформатизація процесу навчання значно поглибилась, тому запровадження m-learning в навчальний процес є актуальною тенденцією. Обмін досвідом між викладачами, які використовують мобільні додатки під час аудиторних занять чи рекомендують їх своїм студентам для виконання домашніх завдань, дозволить накопичити необхідну інформацію та зробити впровадження подібних інновацій більш організованим. Це дозволить підвищити показники ефективності навчального процесу у закладі освіти. Серед переваг мобільного навчання можна підкреслити гнучкість, доступність, економність, портативність, можливість побудови індивідуальної освітньої стратегії. Серед недоліків слід підкреслити ускладнення контролю за результатами, індивідуальне несприйняття такої форми здобувачами, відсутність необхідних мобільних додатків для більш широкого їх використання при вивченні окремих предметів. Врахування переваг та недоліків m-learning, гармонійне поєднання різних форм навчання, методів, технологій та засобів урізноманітнює, осучаснює освітній процес, мотивує студентів на нові досягнення, вдосконалює викладацьку компетентність. Особливо актуальним є використання мобільних додатків в умовах дистанційного навчання, військового стану, пандемії. Автори статті наголошують, що m-learning не повинен повністю замінити інші форми навчання, тому що має обмеження та недоліки. Але використання смартфону чи планшету студента в навчальних цілях зробить освітній процес більш цікавим та сучасним. У статті пропонується огляд окремих мобільних додатків для вивчення іноземних мов та історичних дисциплін. The article is devoted to the problem of using the opportunities of mobile learning in higher education while studying foreign languages and historical disciplines. It is proposed to combine the use of applications, which are available on modern students’smartphones, with traditional training and e-learning. M-learning is learning with the help of mobile devices which is characterized by flexibility, dynamics, accessibility. In recent years the informatization of the learning process has deepened significantly, therefore the introduction of m-learning into the learning process is a relevant trend. The exchange of experiences between teachers who use mobile applications during classroom classes or recommend them to their students for homework will allow to accumulate the necessary information and make the implementation of such innovations more organized. This will increase the efficiency of the educational process at the educational institution. Among the advantages of mobile learning one can emphasize flexibility, accessibility, economy, portability and the possibility of building an individual educational strategy. Among the shortcomings, the complexity of monitoring the results, the individual non-acceptance of this form by the applicants, the lack of the necessary mobile applications for their wider use when studying foreign languages and historical disciplines should be emphasized. Taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of m-learning, the harmonious combination of different forms of learning, methods, technologies and tools diversify, modernize the educational process, motivate students to new achievements, improve teaching competence. The use of mobile applications is especially relevant in conditions of distance learning, martial law and a pandemic. The authors of the article emphasize that m-learning should not completely replace other forms of education, because it has limitations and disadvantages. But using a student's smartphone or tablet for educational purposes will make the educational process more interesting and modern. The article offers an overview of some mobile applications for learning foreign languages and history.
