Статтю присвячено дослідженню мовної картини світу як важливого етноцентричного конструкту талінгвістичного концепту. Висвітлено основні модуси британської мовної картини світу. Визначено їхніекстралінгвістичні чинники і роль усоціокультурній динаміці британського суспільства.Виявлено тасхарактеризовано мовні концепти, які є частотними і найбільш впливовими у дискурсі видання «TheGardian». Вказано на їхніактуальні конотації. Зроблено висновокпро те, щобританська мовна картина світу не лише повною мірою відображає соціокультурні зміни у суспільстві, але й активно їх формує.

The article is dedicated to the study of the language picture of the world as an important ethnocentric structure and linguistic concept. The linguistic material that forms the content ofa certain language picture of the world gives an ideaof a number of extra-linguistic phenomena: the essence of the historical period, the content of human practices, the focus oftheir thinking, the nature of the worldview, the hierarchy of values. The appeal tothelanguage picture of the world of the «Guardian»as one of the leading British high-quality editions, allowed us to simulate the discursive space in which the social life oftheBritish currently exists due to the Brexit process and the controversy that it caused inthe British society.
