    The majority of information which a person perceives during their lifetime is received through the perception of visual images. This rule is observed during the performance of any kind of activity. Therefore, not taking into account the visual presentation of new knowledge during the learning process as well as its quality are a mistake, which becomes an obstacle for the new generations to receive a quality education. Taking into account the current realities and demands on the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired during the training, the problem of using high-quality visual educational content is closely related to the development and use of information and communication technologies. The work examines and analyzes the current state of the use of immersive technologies in education, examines the possibilities and specifics of the use of virtual worlds in the educational process. The practical results of approbation of virtual tools in the educational process are given. A pedagogical experiment aimed at determining the effectiveness of immersive technologies in the realities of Ukrainian education system has been launched.

    The use of computer modeling in the educational process based on the example of studying Coulomb’s law

    The study analyzes computer modeling tools intended for use in educational and scientific contexts. The concept of modeling as a method of research and a teaching tool is examined, the emphasis is placed on computer modeling. It is shown how physical laws, particularly Coulomb’s law, can be studied through modeling. The study uses pre-made simulators, spreadsheets, mathematical packages, as well as our own software in Object Pascal and Python. Experimental testing has confirmed the effectiveness of computer modeling in teaching natural sciences. A survey of students and teachers showed interest in further use of simulation tools in the educational process.

    The Use of Cloud Technologies in the Process of Professional Training of Future Mathematics Teachers

    During the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the education system was forced to make an urgent transition to e-learning. The transition revealed problems not only in the material part of the organization of education (lack of access to digital technology in a significant number of both students and teachers) but also in the lack of accessible electronic educational resources needed for educational activities. There were problems with the appropriate training of practical teachers. It cannot be said that this issue was not addressed by the educational community and state authorities, however, the results speak of the formality of the solution of these issues. The general level of teachers’ mastery of information and communication technologies remains the main problem, and mathematics teachers are not an exception to this problem, the readiness to use electronic educational resources is at a low level due to the specificity of the methodological design of the educational process. The problem of joint activities of students and teachers during the synchronous and asynchronous interaction remains unsolved. The solution of these problems lies not only in the widespread use of information and communication technologies during the practical training of future mathematics teachers and during the practical re-training of practicing teachers, but also in the construction of an open educational environment on the basis of cloud technology, which solves the problem of interaction between the participants in the educational process.

    The training of pre-service mathematics teachers is a complex process due to the specifics of the field. Informatization of education affects all the areas, and pre-service mathematics teachers can not be left out. The article is devoted to the problem of supporting the process of professional training of pre-service mathematics teachers by means of cloud services. Examples of the use of cloud technologies are given. The analysis of a survey of pre-service mathematics teachers on the use of information and communication technologies in the training process is done.

    Use of visual methods plays a significant role in learning. ICT allow us to create electronic educational resources in a new format and with new opportunities. The study of their didactic possibilities, forms and methods of their application is a topical issue. Simulation, virtualization, gamification requires new knowledge about their application, and therefore, the problem of training future teachers to use them is an urgent and important part of training. In this article modern achievements in the use of serious games in education were investigated and analyzed, the possibilities of using virtual worlds in education were considered, the recommendations for the practical training of future teachers to use them were developed. In practice, the effectiveness of the use of virtual tools in education has been tested. A pedagogical experiment has been launched to identify the effectiveness of gamification in the realities of education in Ukraine.

    Some aspects of the use of cloud computing in the training of physics teachers

    The specifics of the training of physics teachers lies in the extensive use of experimental research. E-learning, the role of which has increased due to quarantine restrictions, has the means of experimental research in its arsenal. The international educational community has developed and uses a variety of electronic educational resources, which are integrated into collections and libraries. The professional training of physics teachers is not an exception. Electronic educational resources make it possible not only to deliver educational material in a variety of ways, sometimes impossible without ICT, but also to simulate events and processes for their wider study in educational purposes. The use of cloud calculations in the form of virtual laboratory workshops is a way to solve existing problems in the training of future physics teachers. The use of cloud calculations in the educational activities of future physics teachers contributes not only to the improvement of educational material but also to the improvement of digital competence of all participants of the educational process. The research analyzed the available virtual laboratory practices, the scheme of using physics simulations was suggested, the examples of their use during physics teaching and the role of cloud calculations in the training of physics teachers were given. An analysis of the use of cloud computing and the best practices of this activity is carried out.

    The modern informational society poses new challenges to the education system, and one of the ways to solve them is STEM education, which has become one of the popular learning trends. The solution of the set tasks encourages not only the growth of the economic indicators, but also the general stable development of society with a careful attitude to resources, both material and immaterial. The practitioners are the leaders in high-tech changes of the education system, that is why they are the ones who can implement the STEM approach in the most effective way. This is important because the scientific component of technology is evolving over time and, accordingly, the skills of employees that are needed are changing, too. And the STEM approach in education, in turn, is the best to meet this requirement. The professional development of practicing teachers means to update knowledge in the field and acquire new teaching methods and technologies. Thus, in addition to professional necessity, professional development of practicing teachers is of innovative importance. The proposed certificate program of advanced training aims to develop students’ skills to implement STEM education in a scientifically sound and critical way; widely use interdisciplinary interaction; to introduce methods and means of STEM education in professional activity. The target audience of the program is future and practicing teachers of general and professional higher education.

    Application of cloud computing in the process of professional training of physics teachers

    The use of cloud computing in the form of virtual laboratory workshops is a way to solve the existing problems of training future physics teachers, especially in the widespread use of e-learning. The world educational community has developed and is using a variety of electronic educational resources combined in collections and libraries, and the use of them in the educational activities of future physics teachers helps not only to diversify educational material but also to increase digital competence of all participants in the educational process. The study analyzed the available virtual laboratory workshops, proposed a scheme for the use of physical simulations, gave examples of their use in the study of physics.
