dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджуються можливості Microsoft Excel як універсального, доступного та гнучкого інструмента для управління проєктами. Особливу увагу приділено його потенціалу в умовах цифрової трансформації бізнесу, де вартість, складність навчання та необхідність адаптації спеціалізованих програм для проєктного менеджменту часто є бар'єром для малих і середніх проєктів. Excel, завдяки своїй популярності, простоті використання та широкій функціональності, розглядається як оптимальний інструмент для таких проєктів. У роботі детально аналізуються два підходи до організації управління проєктами в Excel: створення інтерактивного календаря проєкту на основі умовного форматування та побудова діаграми Ганта для візуалізації строків і залежностей між етапами. Автори обґрунтовують переваги цих методів, зокрема їхню простоту реалізації, адаптивність під конкретні потреби та можливості інтеграції з іншими інструментами, такими як Microsoft Project або Power BI. У статті акцентується увага на обмеженнях Excel, таких як відсутність стандартизації рішень, низький рівень автоматизації процесів і обмежена масштабованість для великих проєктів. Для подолання цих викликів запропоновано рекомендації щодо створення автоматизованих шаблонів, покрокових інструкцій для реалізації динамічного календаря та діаграми Ганта, а також способів інтеграції Excel із сучасними аналітичними платформами. Зроблено висновки про доцільність використання Excel для проєктного менеджменту залежно від масштабу та складності проєкту. У статті окреслено перспективи подальших досліджень, включаючи розробку гібридних підходів, що поєднують переваги різних методів, і впровадження інтерактивних рішень для роботи в умовах віддалених та хмарних платформ. Результати дослідження можуть стати корисними для широкого кола користувачів, від новачків до досвідчених фахівців у сфері проєктного менеджменту.
dc.description.abstract This article explores the capabilities of Microsoft Excel as a universal, accessible, and flexible tool for project management. Special attention is given to its potential in the context of business digital transformation, where the cost, complexity of training, and adaptation required for specialized project management software often pose barriers for small and medium-sized projects. Due to its popularity, ease of use, and extensive functionality, Excel is considered an optimal tool for such projects. The paper provides a detailed analysis of two approaches to organizing project management in Excel: creating an interactive project calendar based on conditional formatting and building a Gantt chart to visualize timelines and dependencies between project stages. The authors highlight the advantages of these methods, including ease of implementation, adaptability to specific needs, and integration capabilities with other tools, such as Microsoft Project and Power BI. The study also emphasizes the limitations of Excel, such as the lack of standardized solutions, low levels of process automation, and limited scalability for large projects. To address these challenges, the authors propose recommendations for creating automated templates, step-by-step instructions for implementing dynamic calendars and Gantt charts, and ways to integrate Excel with modern analytical platforms. The article concludes by discussing the feasibility of using Excel for project management depending on the scale and complexity of the project. The authors outline prospects for further research, including the development of hybrid approaches that combine the advantages of different methods and the implementation of interactive solutions for remote and cloud-based platforms. The findings of the study can benefit a broad audience, from beginners to experienced professionals in the field of project management.
