Зроблено висновокпро те, щобританська мовна картина світу не лише повною мірою відображає соціокультурні зміни у суспільстві, але й активно їх формує.The article is dedicated to the study of the language picture of the world as an important ethnocentric structure and linguistic concept. The linguistic material that forms the content ofa certain language picture of the world gives an ideaof a number of extra-linguistic phenomena: the essence of the historical period, the content of human practices, the focus oftheir thinking, the nature of the worldview, the hierarchy of values.
